RMVB Recycling Program

The recycling depot is located on PTH #59 at the Public Works Yard. Improvements continue to be made to the path that runs parallel to PTH 59. This path in the trees takes you from the old recycling area opposite the Parking Lot to the new Recycling and Garbage area in the Public Works yard.

Recyclable materials include clean:

  • glass containers
  • aluminum & tin cans
  • plastic containers numbered #1, #2, #4, #5 & #7
  • paper and cardboard
  • crush or flatten all boxes prior to placing them in the bins
  • rinse your bottles and cans and remove lids

Glass containers are recycled separately in the smaller bright green bin and must be clean.

Paper, cardboard, tins and plastic containers can be co-mingled and recycled together in the large, bright green bin placed beside the ramp.

Place your household garbage in the garbage bins beside the recycling bins.

Responsible recycling practices at our bins helps improve the overall efficiency and costs of our recycling program.
